The Mürz Valley Organic Meadow Orchard Region is where guests can find lush green forests and multicolored organic meadow orchards. The fresh country air invites you to get moving in the great outdoors for instance by taking a hike around one of the theme trails in all of Styria, the Sun Trail in Stanz.
All throughout the spring you'll find heirloom organic meadow apple, pear and plum orchards in full bloom, waiting for a colorful harvest in the autumn. The fruits from these trees, and other wild fruits and berries will be made into single-variety juices, fine brandies and liqueurs. You'll also find meadows and woods filled with herbs and long-forgotten treasures such as sorrel, ground ivy or silver thistle.
Winter is the quietest time of the year, a time for sledding and Bavarian curling to your heart's content.
